All bodies are not the same. There are four distinct body shapes and each of us will fall predominantly into one or the other. Your body type is the effect of your metabolism, and the fat burning hormones which control it. The effect of this distribution of specific shapes dictates the body type diet that needs to be followed in order to lose weight effectively and be healthy.

The thyroid, the adrenals, the liver and the ovaries comprise the main organs of your body that effect your body and body type diet. You need to first find your body type in order to determine your proper body type diet and exercise plan.
Your body speaks for itself. Experts look at where there are parts of your body that have a bigger collection of fat, to spot which body type you have. For instance, a pot belly would usually mean that you fall in the Liver body shape and should follow a special liver body type diet – skin dryness, dandruff, and a yellowish eye-color, these signs show a liver type caused by a malfunctioning liver. It is recommended that a liver body type should undergo a body type diet that contains a good serving of potassium, proteins form eggs and fish. Bananas are good for this body type diet due to its high potassium content. Compliment this body type diet with short, intense work outs and you’ll see signs of improvement. An adrenal type would have a sagging abdomen and follow an adrenal body type diet that would include more meats, etc.
Specific to women only, the ovary body type are ones that have ‘saddlebags’. The areas affected are around the hips and the thighs. A specific body type diet for an ovary body type should include a good serving of antiestrogenic vegetables, and proteins that are hormone-free.
The thyroid body type can be seen if your body fat is well-distributed all over your body, instead of the mass located in a single area. For a body type diet, iodine-rich foods should replace fatty sweets. Iodine can be found in many vegetables. For this body type diet, an ample amount of vegetables are recommended along with a little exercise.
